  • You can call the dispatch center 911 or 910-452-6120 to report a suspicious circumstance or a crime without giving your name. There are certain legal and practical limitations regarding the response to and follow up on anonymous reports to the dispatcher but you may remain anonymous.  You can also  Email the Crime Tip Line to provide a tip you think the Police should investigate. This tip line is not live monitored, please call the dispatch center if you need immediate response.

  • It is the policy of the Wrightsville Beach Police Department to take reports in person. An officer may respond to the location the incident occurred; to your home if you live within the Town limits; or you may come in to our station to make a report. In the event there is an unusual circumstance that prohibits a reporting person from making a report in this fashion, please call the station at (910) 256-7945 and ask to speak with a supervisor.

  • Our Front Desk is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. You may come to the Police Department to pick up a copy of a report. Please call ahead of time so they can have it ready for you. Or, you may send a written request along with a self addressed envelope to the Wrightsville Beach Police Department, PO Box 452, Wrightsville Beach, NC 28480.   You may also obtain a copy through CRASHDOCS.

  • There is no waiting period for someone to be reported missing. Report as soon as you notice anything abnormal.
