To help with the financial challenges of COVID-19, beginning March 23rd we temporarily suspended both late fees and service disconnections. Governor Cooper further enacted Executive Order 124 on March 31, 2020, requiring all Government utilities to not impose late fees and service disconnections for 60 days from that date.
To make sure you are not surprised by a large past due balance later, we will continue to notify you as meters are read, bills are completed, and note when your account is past due.
After Governor Cooper’s “Stay in Place” order is lifted and Town Hall is back to fully-staffed, our employees will be available to work with you to set up a payment arrangement. Past due balances will have up to 6 months to pay delinquent balances.
At any time, you can make partial or full payments by mailing in a check to PO Box 626, Wrightsville Beach, NC 28480 or online via the Town Website. This is available 24/7 via MasterCard, Visa or Discover.
